Anime anychart series#
The manga has been adapted into an anime television series produced by Wit Studio (seasons 1 to 3) and MAPPA (season 4). The series first began in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on September 9, 2009, and it has been collected into 31 tankōbon volumes as of April 2020. It is set in a fantasy world where humanity lives within territories surrounded by three enormous walls that protect them from gigantic man-eating humanoids referred to as Titans. "The Attack Giant") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. Strange coincidence gets my conspiracy-theory mind running.Attack on Titan ( Japanese: 進撃の巨人, Hepburn: Shingeki no Kyojin, lit. So I guess in that category it's a win.Īs an aside, completely throwaway, and please don't take this as accusation, but it seems really strange that AniChart grew in popularity due to getting taken down, and now AniList comes right after MAL has sustained outage due to outside interference. It looks nicer than MAL though, because it has the smoothness and typographical sheen of Hummingbird. Though, that might be because it's very similar in layout to MAL. The nicest thing I'll say for now is that it looks much cleaner than Hummingbird. Well, I suppose this might have the advantage of tying into AniChart, but I don't use AniChart at all. Even though, by rights, there's not a reason for it to exist when there's already two services vying to replace MAL, and two grizzled little-known alternatives to MAL that have always been present. I moved my stuff off of MAL to a text file during the great MAL outage, and deleted my flair.but I guess I'm still tempted by curiousity to check this out just to see how it compares even though I wouldn't use it. It would be an ultra-fast workflow for someone who have watched a lot of anime to build an anime list from scratch. By the time where I'm mostly just clicking on no, I'd know that my list should be very close to complete. I'm imagining that I should be able to pick an anime, and then it starts the automatic "have you also seen this anime?" process, where the website just keep on giving me possible anime I've seen, and all I do is click on ratings, and occasionally say no, while using "add to queue" to mark down anything I haven't seen that seems interesting. The rating is important, but for the 5 star and :) :| :( rating systems, it would be better to not use a dropdown menu, and instead give me a one-click option. So it would be nice if I can somehow make the status dropdown to default to "completed". Personally when building my list initially, the only things I'm really interested to keep track of are what anime I've watched, and what I've thought of them.
Perhaps there could also be an option to "Add to my queue" that would automatically add it to your list with status "Plan To Watch". I can start with one anime, and then when I add it to my list, the website immediately suggests me another similar anime to add to my list, where I can choose to add to list or "no I haven't watched this", and the process would repeat until I decide to get out. Considering that I probably have more than 100 titles to add, this is much too tedious. Then, I have to fill a 5-item form before the process is complete. I'd like to remake my list rather than import my MAL list, but it seems like to create a list, I need to find an anime, go into the anime page, and then click "Add to List". A few suggestions based on my own personal preferences.
